Our Purpose is to provide counseling assistance to those in need of help in what is perhaps the most sensitive area of their lives, problems with alcohol, drugs and child abuse. To provide a forum where the first step to recovery may begin. Giving the disadvantaged community a counseling service where they can interact with our counselors and bring awareness to them that they can effectively bring about positive changes in their lives.
Covenant Counseling Center brings awareness to the community that there is help available to those in need. This includes men, women, homeless persons, single moms, and low income, etc. The Three Cs Covenant Counseling Center is endeavoring to facilitate positive change in the lives of hurting people. This includes men, women, homeless persons, single moms, low income, etc.
Three Cs Covenant Counseling Center offers services to the economically challenged individual.
Three C Covenant Counseling Center does not charge fees for our services. We are funded by donations and grants. Donations are tax deductible.
The Three Cs Covenant Counseling Center is located in the city of Hacienda Heights, California.
Our Director, Simon Garcia graduated from Citrus College, Azusa, CA, with an Associates Degree in Criminal Justice. He has a certificate in alcohol studies from UC San Diego, University of Utah, UCLA and Cal State LA. He received a Christian Worker certificate and diploma from Victory Outreach Ministries Bible Institute, La Puente, along with an Associates Certificate in biblical studies.
Mr. Garcia is currently working towards a BA in Health and Safety from CalState, Los Angeles. Simon worked for LA County Probation for 10 years.
In October, 2005, Simon was ordained as a Pastor at TrueVine Christian Center in San Bernardino, California. Simon retired from Kaiser Permanente after 20 years as a certified alcohol and drug counselor. Simon has 29 years sobriety.
Mr. Garcia has lived in the area for 35 years. He has 4 adult children, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was discharged from the Navy in June 1958. He was an active member of the AMVETS American Veterans and also served as a member of the California State Honor Guard for AMVETS in 1969, and was chairman of the Toy Drive for the Needy for two years in 1967-68 in his home town of Sanger, CA. Mr. Garcia is one of three who founded Christian Alcohol Awareness Program-Drugs (CAAP-D) Ministries in 1985 which hosts a full functioning church (TrueVine Christian Center), a men’s and women’s recovery homes with an average of 10-15 in the homes at any given time. For his many years of working with alcohol and drug abuse and the needy, Mr. Garcia received a proclamation from the San Bernardino Board of Supervisors. He also received Certificates of Recognition from the Mayors of Fontana and Rialto in 1994.
